3-05-2011 - The day ahead

Was a gorgeous brisk morning, fortunately the sun was out, and temperatures were 5-8 degrees most of the day. It started to rain later on, and the wind came up and was bitter cold...that is if you did not have gloves (like me)....and jeans are like a cold magnet, yip I certainly was not prepared for this cold....but am loving the change in temps, feeling the cool air burn into my cheeks, the colour of the gorgeous green oak like trees many centuaries old, lime green leaves and crisp scenery, the cleanliness of the Danes was very noticable. I have noticed a couple things re the architecture.....they have no eaves on their roofs, no pavement canopies, because they need to useeverybit of the sun they get. Was also strange to see, no net curtains on the windows either, all very clear windows, small and very quaint. Very steep roof lines to compensate for the snow fall.....ok i have to load some photos now.....
