We set of on our excursion to St Paul de Vence at 2.30pm, Saint-Paul de Vence is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France. As one of the oldest medieval towns in the French Riviera, it is well-known from its modern and contemporary art museums and galleries such as Fondation Maeght which is located near Saint-Paul de Vence old village. It was a source of inspiration for artists such as Changall, Matisse and Cezanne. The property prices in Saint-Paul de Vence is the average square meter price hovering on both sides of €10.000/m2. It was simply ‘manuficque’ it was quaint, it was pretty it was simply so beautiful, the French are so proud, and I loved this village, I could come back here a million times, every corner you took, was a perfect painting!
Provence will not be Provence without a traditional game of ‘boule’ we had such a laugh, and a lovely afternoon of fun and games. We set of for a typical Provencal dinner with local specialties, and I sat with a table of 8 girls (well ladies really) and boy, we laughed so much, unfortunately to say, yip I peed my pants, it was a terrific night to remember with a whole lot of new friends! Was so good to have a girlie night…..the food was so nice, its amazing how deliv=cate the food, the taste the servings, boy a I going to change my cooking habits…..
